خون کہاں کچھ سوکھے دریا ہیں صحرا بھر مجھ میں

پہروں جلتا رہتا ہوں میں جیسے کوئی سورج

ایک کرن جب رک جاتی ہے تجھ سے چھن کر مجھ میں

تو موجود ہے میں معدوم ہوں اس کا مطلب یہ ہے

تجھ میں جو ناپید ہے پیارے وہ ہے میسر مجھ میں

قطرہ ٹھیک ہے دریا ہونے میں نقصان بہت ہے

دیکھ تو کیسے ڈوب رہا ہے میرا لشکر مجھ میں
