جنگل کا سناٹا میرا دشمن ہے

پھیلتا صحرا دیدہ و دل کا دشمن ہے

جسم کی اوٹ میں گھات لگائے بیٹھا ہے

موسم گل بھی ایک انوکھا دشمن ہے

نقش وفا میں رنگ وہی ہے دیکھو تو

جس کی دنیا جو دنیا کا دشمن ہے

ساحل مرگ پہ رفتہ رفتہ لے آیا

تنہائی کا روگ بھی اچھا دشمن ہے

چاند میں شاید پیار ملے گا انساں کو

اس بستی کا سایا سایا دشمن ہے

پتھر تو خاموش پڑے ہیں راہوں میں

آئینہ کیوں آئینے کا دشمن ہے
