چند تنکوں کو اتنا گراں مت کرو
روشنی جس جگہ جھانکتی بھی نہیں
اس اندھیرے کو تم آسماں مت کرو
ایک کمرے میں رہنا ہے سب کو یہاں
گیلے پتے جلا کر دھواں مت کرو
دشمنی تو ہواؤں میں موجود ہے
کوئی زحمت پئے دوستاں مت کرو
کیا پتہ کس کے دامن تلے آگ ہے
سب کے چہروں پہ اپنا گماں مت کرو
