پہلے کچھ دن وفا ہوا تھا کوئی
پھر مسلسل سزا ہوا تھا کوئی
اب تو ظلمت بدست پھرتے ہیں
کوئی دن تھے ضیا ہوا تھا کوئی
کیا یہی بات کر رہے ہیں آپ
کبھی عہد وفا ہوا تھا کوئی
اب جدائی کی راہ پڑتی ہے
بس یہیں تک دعا ہوا تھا کوئی
دھند میں بس گئے تھے سب منظر
بس اچانک خفا ہوا تھا کوئی
برق گرتی تھی آشیانے پر
جیسے اس سے ملا ہوا تھا کوئی
یہ مژہ پر رکا ہوا آنسو
خواب اس سے جڑا ہوا تھا کوئی
ٹھیک سے تو مجھے بھی یاد نہیں
شام ہی تھی جدا ہوا تھا کوئی
