اجالوں کی نمائش ہو رہی ہے

اندھیروں سے بھی سازش ہو رہی ہے

کوئی منصف نہیں شاید میسر

ستم گر سے جو نالش ہو رہی ہے

وہ مانے یا نہ مانے اس کی مرضی

منانے کی تو کاوش ہو رہی ہے

ستم گر سے کوئی پوچھے تو اتنا

یہ مجھ پر کیوں نوازش ہو رہی ہے

ادب کی روک کر تعمیر خود ہی

ترقی کی گزارش ہو رہی ہے

ہیں چرچے علم کے ہر اک زباں پر

مگر کمزور دانش ہو رہی ہے

نہیں اخلاص نیت اور اخترؔ

عبادت کی نمائش ہو رہی ہے

andheron se bhi sazish ho rahi hai

koi munsif nahin shayad mayassar
sitamgar se jo nalish ho rahi hai

wo mane ya na mane us ki marzi
manane ki to kawish ho rahi hai

sitamgar se koi puchhe to itna
ye mujh par kyon nawazish ho rahi hai

adab ki rok kar tamir KHud hi
taraqqi ki guzarish ho rahi hai

hain charche ilm ke har ek zaban par
magar kamzor danish ho rahi hai

nahin iKHlas-e-niyyat aur 'aKHtar'
ibaadat ki numaish ho rahi hai
