اختر بستوی

در حقیقت خامشی معراج ہے گفتار کی

اس سے بہتر کوئی بھی صورت نہیں اظہار کی

ہو گئی ہے نطق کی ہر ہر ادا جب بے اثر

میں نے دیکھا ہے طلسم خامشی کو کارگر

خامشی ایسے بھی لمحوں کی کہانی کہہ گئی

جن میں گویائی پشیمانی اٹھا کر رہ گئی

dar-haqiqat KHamushi mearaj hai guftar ki
is se behtar koi bhi surat nahin izhaar ki
ho gai hai nutq ki har har ada jab be-asar
main ne dekha hai tilism-e-KHamushi ko kargar
KHamushi aise bhi lamhon ki kahani kah gai
jin mein goyai pashemani uTha kar rah gai
