اختر بستوی

سوچنے سے فائدہ کچھ بھی نہیں

اس حقیقت سے ہوں میں بھی باخبر

جانتا ہوں سوچنا ہے اک عذاب

زندگی ہوتی ہے اس سے تلخ تر

میں مگر مجبور ہوں لاچار ہوں

اس سے ممکن ہی نہیں مجھ کو فراغ

لاکھ میں کوشش کروں لیکن کبھی

رہ نہیں سکتا ہے بے سوچے دماغ

is haqiqat se hun main bhi ba-KHabar
jaanta hun sochna hai ek azab
zindagi hoti hai is se talKH-tar
main magar majbur hun lachaar hun
is se mumkin hi nahin mujh ko faragh
lakh main koshish karun lekin kabhi
rah nahin sakta hai be-soche dimagh
