آگ چولھے کی بجھی جاتی ہے

چاندنی ہے کہ کھلی جاتی ہے

جس قدر نیچے اترتا ہوں میں

جھیل بھی گہری ہوئی جاتی ہے

گرد اٹھی ہے جو مری ٹھوکر سے

ایک دیوار بنی جاتی ہے

پہرے ہونٹوں پہ بٹھانے والے

بات آنکھوں سے بھی کی جاتی ہے

لوگ ساحل پہ کھڑے دیکھتے ہیں

ناؤ کاغذ کی بہی جاتی ہے
