جرم کی طرح محبت کو چھپا رکھا ہے

ہم گنہ گار نہیں ہیں یہ بتائیں کس کو

روٹھ جاتے تو منانا کوئی دشوار نہ تھا

وہ تعلق ہی نہ رکھیں تو منائیں کس کو

کون دیتا ہے یہاں خواب جنوں کی تعبیر

خواب ہم اپنے سنائیں تو سنائیں کس کو

کوئی پرسان وفا ہے نہ پشیمان جفا

زخم ہم اپنے دکھائیں تو دکھائیں کس کو

چاک دل چاک گریباں تو نہیں ہم نفسو

ہم یہ تصویر سر بزم دکھائیں کس کو

کون اس شہر میں سنتا ہے فغان درویش

اپنی آشفتہ بیانی سے رلائیں کس کو

ہو گیا خاک رہ کوئے ملامت اخترؔ

راہ پر لائیں جو احباب تو لائیں کس کو
