یہ رات پھر مری آنکھوں سے آج ہار گئی

صبا چمن سے بہت آج سوگوار گئی

ہوئی جو صبح تو اشکوں سے جگمگا اٹھی

جو آئی شام تو یادوں سے مشک بار گئی

اسی نگاہ نے مارا الم پرستوں کو

وہی نگاہ مری زندگی سنوار گئی

زمین کوئے ملامت بھی خیر راہ میں تھی

کہاں کہاں لئے موج خرام یار گئی
