جھوم کر بدلی اٹھی اور چھا گئی

ساری دنیا پر جوانی آ گئی

آہ وہ اس کی نگاہ مے فروش

جب بھی اٹھی مستیاں برسا گئی

گیسوئے مشکیں میں وہ روئے حسیں

ابر میں بجلی سی اک لہرا گئی

عالم مستی کی توبہ الاماں

پارسائی نشہ بن کر چھا گئی

آہ اس کی بے نیازی کی نظر

آرزو کیا پھول سی کمھلا گئی

ساز دل کو گدگدایا عشق نے

موت کو لے کر جوانی آ گئی

پارسائی کی جوانمرگی نہ پوچھ

توبہ کرنی تھی کہ بدلی چھا گئی

اخترؔ اس جان تمنا کی ادا

جب کبھی یاد آ گئی تڑپا گئی
