ہمیں اپنی مسافت بے مزہ کرنا نہیں ہے

سفر کرنا ہے منزل کا پتہ کرنا نہیں ہے

بلا سے ہم کسی ساحل پہ پہنچیں یا نہ پہنچیں

کسی بھی ناخدا کو اب خدا کرنا نہیں ہے

ہواؤں سے ہی قائم ہے ہماری ضو فشانی

ہواؤں سے چراغوں کو جدا کرنا نہیں ہے

بدلتے وقت کے تیور پرکھنا چاہتے ہیں

کہا کس نے بزرگوں کا کہا کرنا نہیں ہے

تمہیں ضامن ہو میری زندگی کے میرے خوابو

تمہیں اک پل بھی آنکھوں سے رہا کرنا نہیں ہے

کئی آشفتہ سر مل جائیں گے رستے میں عالمؔ

کسی کے واسطے ہم کو صدا کرنا نہیں ہے
