راستہ روکنا پڑا اس کا

اتنا زیادہ تھا تذکرہ اس کا

ایک آسان سا حوالہ ہے

لفظ بہ لفظ بولنا اس کا

لوگ کہتے تھے مرنے والا ہے

یہ جو چہرہ ہے دوسرا اس کا

دن کوئی مرحلہ نہیں ہوتا

رات لمبی ہے سوچنا اس کا

عشق پتھر ہے ایک بھاری سا

کون سنتا ہے اب کہا اس کا
