آپ کے نعروں میں للکاروں میں کیسے آئیں گے

زمزمے جو ان کہی اک پیار کی بولی میں تھے

پھر کسی کوفے میں تنہا ہے کوئی ابن عقیل

اس کے ساتھی سب کے سب سرکار کی ٹولی میں تھے

اب دھنک کے رنگ بھی ان کو بھلے لگتے نہیں

مست سارے شہر والے خون کی ہولی میں تھے
