بارش کے گھنگھور حوالے گنتا رہتا ہوں
لمحہ لمحہ بادل کالے گنتا رہتا ہوں
صدیاں گزریں خوابوں کو آنکھوں میں آئے
پلکوں پر مکڑی کے جالے گنتا رہتا ہوں
اوپر والا منزل مجھ کو دکھلاتا ہے
اور میں اپنے پیر کے چھالے گنتا رہتا ہوں
تاریکی کی لاشیں گننا کتنا مشکل ہے
دن کے آدم خور اجالے گنتا رہتا ہوں
میری چھاؤں کے ٹکڑے کھاتا جاتا ہے سورج
میں آنگن میں بیٹھ نوالے گنتا رہتا ہوں
پانی کتنا اوپر ہو تو ڈوبوں گا میں
کتنے پتھر اب تک ڈالے گنتا رہتا ہوں
دنیا تارے گنتے گنتے سوتی ہے یار
میں بے چارہ چاند کے ہالے گنتا رہتا ہوں
