یہ تاج محل میرا ہے لے میری غزل رکھ

یہ قول بزرگوں کا ہے مت ہنس کے اسے ٹال

بچوں کی رکابی میں سدا پیار کا پھل رکھ

آتا ہے ہر اک سال ترے گاؤں میں سیلاب

پلکوں پہ مرے یار نہ سپنوں کا محل رکھ

ٹھوکر سے بچانا ہے اگر اپنی انا کو

دل میں نہ سہی اپنے لبوں پر تو کنول رکھ

مت دیکھ علیمؔ اہل عداوت کی صفوں کو

لڑنا ہے تو پھر اپنے ارادے کو اٹل رکھ

ye taj-mahal mera hai le meri ghazal rakh

ye qaul buzurgon ka hai mat hans ke ise Tal
bachchon ki rakabi mein sada pyar ka phal rakh

aata hai har ek sal tere ganw mein sailab
palkon pe mere yar na sapnon ka mahal rakh

Thokar se bachana hai agar apni ana ko
dil mein na sahi apne labon par tu kanwal rakh
