پھر کوئی مشکل جواں ہونے کو ہے

دوستوں کا امتحاں ہونے کو ہے

جھونکے دم سادھے کھڑے ہیں چار سو

کوئی ہنگامہ یہاں ہونے کو ہے

بھیگ جانے پر بھی جو بجھتا نہ تھا

آج وہ شعلہ دھواں ہونے کو ہے

یہ بہاریں اور گل بوٹے نڈھال

فصل گل دور خزاں ہونے کو ہے

زندگی سے کیجیے امید کیا

زندگی خود رائیگاں ہونے کو ہے

ضبط کا حد سے گزرنا دیکھیے

راز آنکھوں سے بیاں ہونے کو ہے

منزل مقصود جب آئی نظر

راہبر سنگ‌ راں ہونے کو ہے

phir koi mushkil jawan hone ko hai
doston ka imtihan hone ko hai

jhonke dam sadhe khaDe hain chaar-su
koi hangama yahan hone ko hai

bhig jaane par bhi jo bujhta na tha
aaj wo shoala dhuan hone ko hai

ye bahaaren aur gul buTe niDhaal
fasl-e-gul daur-e-KHizan hone ko hai

zindagi se kijiye ummid kya
zindagi KHud raegan hone ko hai

zabt ka had se guzarna dekhiye
raaz aankhon se bayan hone ko hai

manzil-e-maqsud jab aai nazar
rahbar sang-e-garan hone ko hai
