ہجر کا ماہتاب ہے نیند نہ کوئی خواب ہے

تشنہ لبی شراب ہے نشہ میں مست امیر‌ امامؔ

سخت بہت ہے مرحلہ دیکھیے کیا ہو فیصلہ

تیغ بکف حقیقتیں قلب بہ دست امیر امامؔ

زخم بہت ملے مگر آج بھی ہے اٹھائے سر

دیکھ جہان فتنہ گر تیری شکست امیر امامؔ

اس کے تمام ہم سفر نیند کے ساتھ جا چکے

خواب کدے میں رہ گیا خواب پرست امیر امامؔ
