اک اور رات خود میں ٹھہرنا پڑا مجھے

محفوظ خامشی کی پناہوں میں تھا مگر

گونجی اک ایسی چیخ کہ ڈرنا پڑا مجھے

اس بار راہ عشق کچھ اتنی طویل تھی

اس کے بدن سے ہو کے گزرنا پڑا مجھے
