بند کر لیں تھیں کھڑکیاں میں نے

یہ بھی دستور ہے محبت کا

ہار کر جیتی بازیاں میں نے

ہاتھ اٹھتے نہیں دعا کے لیے

اب جلا دیں ہیں عرضیاں میں نے

ہم سفر وہ جو ہم سفر ہی نہ تھا

اور پھر کر لیں دوریاں میں نے

پر کتر پائی جب نہ خوابوں کے

بند ہی کر دیں کھڑکیاں میں نے
