امت برج شا
احساس کی مہنگائی بہت بڑھ گئی ہے
آج کل کوئی نظمیں خریدنے نہیں آتا
تمہارے سرہانے میرے ہاتھوں کی لکیریں رکھی ہیں
یقین نہیں تو ٹٹول کر دیکھ لینا
یہ وقت کی ہی گستاخی ہے جو گزرنے سے کبھی بعض نہیں آتا
اگر میں ٹھہرا ہوا نہ ہوتا تو نہ جانے وقت کیسے گزرتا
اس خالی ایش ٹرے میں تیرے نام والے احساس کو
کش مار کر بجھا دیا ہے ہم نے
تمہارے عشق کے ماتھے پر یہ کیسی جھریاں پڑ گئی ہیں
بڑھاپے کے علاوہ اور کیا حاصل ہوا
ایک بوڑھا ندی کے کنارے کھڑا سوریاست دیکھ رہا تھا
کچھ لوگوں کے نہ گھر میں آئینہ ہوتا ہے اور نہ زندگی میں

aaj kal koi nazmen KHaridne nahin aata
tumhaare sirhane mere hathon ki lakiren rakkhi hain
yaqin nahin to TaTol kar dekh lena
ye waqt ki hi gustaKHi hai jo guzarne se kabhi baz nahin aata
agar main Thahra hua na hota to na jaane waqt kaise guzarta
is KHali ashtray mein tere nam wale ehsas ko
kash mar kar bujha diya hai hum ne
tumhaare ishq ke mathe par ye kaisi jhurriyan paD gai hain
buDhape ke alawa aur kya hasil hua
ek buDha nadi ke kinare khaDa suryast dekh raha tha
kuchh logon ke na ghar mein aaina hota hai aur na zindagi mein
