گھر میں تھی شادمانی
اک جشن کامرانی
دیکھا جو یہ تماشا
امی سے میں نے پوچھا
امی یہ بات کیا ہے
کیوں جشن ہو رہا ہے
امی یہ ہنس کے بولی
تو تو بڑی ہے بھولی
تجھ کو خبر نہیں ہے
بھیا کی کل ہے شادی
آئے گی تیرے گھر میں
کل ایک شاہزادی
میں جانتی نہیں تھی
ہوتی ہے کیا یہ شادی
اتنا مگر پتا تھا
یہ بات ہے خوشی کی
سننا تھا صرف اتنا
مسرور ہو گئی میں
فرط خوشی سے پھر تو
مغرور ہو گئی میں
کہتی سہیلیوں سے
بھیا کی کل ہے شادی
آئے گی میرے گھر میں
کل ایک شاہزادی
آئی جو گھر میں دلہن
دیکھا اٹھا کے چلمن
مجھ سی ہی ایک لڑکی
دلہن بنی ہوئی تھی
میں نے جو نام پوچھا
اس نے کہا کہ بھابھی

dekha jo ye tamasha
ammi se main ne puchha
ammi ye baat kya hai
kyun jashn ho raha hai
ammi ye hans ke boli
tu to baDi hai bholi
tujh ko KHabar nahin hai
bhayya ki kal hai shadi
aaegi tere ghar mein
kal ek shahzadi
main jaanti nahin thi
hoti hai kya ye shadi
itna magar pata tha
ye baat hai KHushi ki
sunna tha sirf itna
masrur ho gai main
fart-e-KHushi se phir to
maghrur ho gai main
kahti saheliyon se
bhayya ki kal hai shadi
aaegi mere ghar mein
kal ek shahzadi
aai jo ghar mein dulhan
dekha uTha ke chilman
mujh si hi ek laDki
dulhan bani hui thi
main ne jo nam puchha
us ne kaha ki bhabhi
