آپ کا کوئی سفر بے سمت بے منزل نہ ہو
زندگی ایسی نہ جینا جس کا مستقبل نہ ہو
آج کے شہزادے سب کچھ چاہتے ہیں اس طرح
سختیٔ موسم بھی کم ہو راہ بھی مشکل نہ ہو
تیرا سرمایہ تری دولت یہی اک چیز ہے
ایک پل کردار کی تعمیر سے غافل نہ ہو
اس نے خوشیوں کے خزانے وا کئے مجھ پر مگر
بے تحاشا روشنی کی تیرگی حاصل نہ ہو
اپنی قربت کے کچھ ایسے نقش دل پر چھوڑ دے
وہ بھی چاہے تو محبت کا اثر زائل نہ ہو
یہ سمجھ لو بے حسی اس کا مقدر بن چکی
اے انیسؔ اپنی غلط کاری پہ جو قائل نہ ہو
