ہم ہیں اک دوسرے کی تنہائی

پہلا دن ہے زمیں پہ آدم کا

پہلی ہجرت ہے پہلی تنہائی

آدھے بستر پہ آ بڑھو تم بھی

بانٹ لیں آدھی آدھی تنہائی

گفتگو نے تھکا دیا ہے بہت

آ مری دوست میری تنہائی

جب خدا بھی نہیں تھا ساتھ مرے

مجھ پہ بیتی ہے ایسی تنہائی

میں نے سمجھی زباں خموشی کی

ایسی مجلس سے اچھی تنہائی
