وہ میرے پاس تھا لیکن وہ تھا نہیں مرے ساتھ

نکل پڑا ہوں کسی کو ملے بتائے بغیر

سفر بخیر کوئی بھی دعا نہیں مرے ساتھ

وہ میرے دکھ میں مرا جا رہا ہے حیرت ہے

جو ایک دن بھی خوشی سے جیا نہیں مرے ساتھ

خدا کی راہ میں نکلا ہوں میں تن تنہا

یہ پہلی بار ہوا ہے خدا نہیں مرے ساتھ
