بے جان پڑا دیکھتا رہتا تھا میں اس کو

اک روز مجھے اس نے اشارے سے اٹھایا

اک لہر مجھے کھینچ کے لے آئی بھنور میں

وہ لہر جسے میں نے کنارے سے اٹھایا

گھر میں کہیں گنجائش در ہی نہیں رکھی

بنیاد کو کس شک کے سہارے سے اٹھایا

اک میں ہی تھا اے جنس محبت تجھے ارزاں

اور میں نے بھی اب ہاتھ خسارے سے اٹھایا
