صلح کے بعد محبت نہیں کر سکتا میں

مختصر یہ کہ وضاحت نہیں کر سکتا میں

دل ترے ہجر میں سرشار ہوا پھرتا ہے

اب کسی دشت میں وحشت نہیں کر سکتا میں

میرے چہرے پہ ہیں آنکھیں مرے سینے میں ہے دل

اس لیے تیری حفاظت نہیں کر سکتا میں

ہر طرف تو نظر آتا ہے جدھر جاتا ہوں

تیرے امکان سے ہجرت نہیں کر سکتا میں

اتنا ترسایا گیا مجھ کو محبت سے کہ اب

اک محبت پہ قناعت نہیں کر سکتا میں

اپنا ایماں بھی تجھے سونپ دیا ہے انجمؔ

اس سے بڑھ کر تو سخاوت نہیں کر سکتا میں
