عقیل جامد

قہقہوں کی زد سے یہ گوہر چھپا

اپنی دولت سب سے چشم تر چھپا

آگ برسے گی ابھی کچھ دیر میں

چھوڑ میری فکر اپنا سر چھپا

وسعت عالم میں گنجائش نہیں

مجھ کو اپنی ذات کے اندر چھپا

کام آئے گا برے اوقات میں

خانۂ دل میں ذرا سا شر چھپا

اس خموشی کو سمجھ لوں احترام

یا ترے دل میں ہے میرا ڈر چھپا

اپنی شخصیت کی جامدؔ لاج رکھ

جو پس پردہ ہے وہ منظر چھپا

apni daulat sab se chashm-e-tar chhupa

aag barsegi abhi kuchh der mein
chhoD meri fikr apna sar chhupa

wusat-e-alam mein gunjaish nahin
mujh ko apni zat ke andar chhupa

kaam aaega bure auqat mein
KHana-e-dil mein zara sa shar chhupa

us KHamoshi ko samajh lun ehtiram
ya tere dil mein hai mera Dar chhupa

apni shaKHsiyyat ki 'jamid' laj rakh
jo pas-e-parda hai wo manzar chhupa
