مجھے محرومیوں کا غم نہیں ہے
یہ توفیق طلب بھی کم نہیں ہے
محبت نام ہے غم پیشگی کا
ہوس اس راز کی محرم نہیں ہے
خموشی بھی ہے اک طرز تکلم
نظر کی گفتگو مبہم نہیں ہے
میں روتا ہوں جنوں کی بیکسی پر
وداع ہوش کا ماتم نہیں ہے
بجز اک عالم حسن تحیر
نظر میں اب کوئی عالم نہیں ہے

ye taufiq-e-talab bhi kam nahin hai
mohabbat nam hai gham-peshgi ka
hawas is raaz ki mahram nahin hai
KHamoshi bhi hai ek tarz-e-takallum
nazar ki guftugu mubham nahin hai
main rota hun junun ki bekasi par
wida-e-hosh ka matam nahin hai
ba-juz ek aalam-e-husn-e-tahayyur
nazar mein ab koi aalam nahin hai
