جو بجھ گئے تھے چراغ پھر سے جلا رہا ہے

جو بجھ گئے تھے چراغ پھر سے جلا رہا ہے
یہ کون دل کے کواڑ پھر کھٹکھٹا رہا ہے
مہیب قحط الرجال میں بھی خیال تیرا
نئے مناظر نئے شگوفے کھلا رہا ہے
وہ گیت جس میں تری کہانی سمٹ گئی تھی
اسے نئی طرز میں کوئی گنگنا رہا ہے
میں وسعتوں سے بچھڑ کے تنہا نہ جی سکوں گا
مجھے نہ روکو مجھے سمندر بلا رہا ہے
وہ جس کے دم سے میں اس کی یادوں سے منسلک ہوں
اسے یہ کہنا وہ گھاؤ بھی بھرتا جا رہا ہے

muhib qahtur-rijal mein bhi KHayal tera
nae manazir nae shagufe khila raha hai
wo git jis mein teri kahani simaT gai thi
use nai tarz mein koi gunguna raha hai
main wusaton se bichhaD ke tanha na ji sakunga
mujhe na roko mujhe samundar bula raha hai
wo jis ke dam se main us ki yaadon se munsalik hun
use ye kahna wo ghao bhi bharta ja raha hai
