پیاسا رہا میں بالا قدی کے فریب میں

پیاسا رہا میں بالا قدی کے فریب میں
دریا بہت قریب تھا مجھ سے نشیب میں
موقعہ ملا تھا پھر بھی نہ میں آزما سکا
اس کی پسند کے کئی سکے تھے جیب میں
پردیس جانے والا پلٹ بھی تو سکتا ہے
اتنا کہاں شکیب تھا اس نا شکیب میں
سنتا تو ہے بدن کی عبادت پہ آیتیں
آتا نہیں ہے پھر بھی کسی کے فریب میں
کھلتا ہے اس کے جسم پہ قاتل کا بھی لباس
کیا عیب ڈھونڈھتا کوئی اس جامہ زیب میں
بھوکا پرندہ شاخ پہ بیٹھا اور اڑ گیا
شاید کوئی مٹھاس نہ تھی کچے سیب میں

mauqa mila tha phir bhi na main aazma saka
us ki pasand ke kai sikke the jeb mein
pardes jaane wala palaT bhi to sakta hai
itna kahan shakeb tha is na-shakeb mein
sunta to hai badan ki ibaadat pe aayaten
aata nahin hai phir bhi kisi ke fareb mein
khilta hai us ke jism pe qatil ka bhi libas
kya aib DhunDhta koi us jama-zeb mein
bhuka parinda shaKH pe baiTha aur uD gaya
shayad koi miThas na thi kachche seb mein
