باندھنا دل کو مرے زلف گرہ گیر کے ساتھ
خوب کھیلے گا یہ قیدی تیری زنجیر کے ساتھ
پہلے وہ آئے تو بعد ان کے عدو کو دیکھا
خواب آیا بھی تو آیا مجھے تعبیر کے ساتھ
کسی بانکے کے بنائے ہوئے ابرو ہیں تیرے
خوب ٹکرایا ہے شمشیر کو شمشیر کے ساتھ
لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اس دل میں خدا رہتا ہے
کس لئے چل دیا پھر اس بت بے پیر کے ساتھ
آج میں جا کے کہوں گا یہ عدو سے اصغرؔ
اپنی تقدیر بدل لے مری تقدیر کے ساتھ

KHub Takraya hai shamshir ko shamshir ke sath
log kahte hain ki is dil mein KHuda rahta hai
kis liye chal diya phir us but-e-be-pir ke sath
aaj main ja ke kahunga ye adu se 'asghar'
apni taqdir badal le meri taqdir ke sath
