اتنا بے نفع نہیں اُس سے بچھڑنا میرا
انجمن ساز ہوا ہے ‘ دلِ تنہا میرا
سرنگوں ہونے نہیں دیتا یہ احساس مجھے
میں تو ٹوٹا ہوں مگر خواب نہ ٹوٹا میرا
کون ہیں وہ جنہیں آفاق کی وسعت کم ہے
یہ سمندر نہ یہ دریا نہ یہ صحرا میرا
ایک ہی لمحہ ء موجود میں ‘ موجود ہوں میں
اور اک لمحے کا ہونا ہے نہ ہونا میرا
دل میں سو تیر ترازو ہوئے تب جا کے کھلا
اس قدر سہل نہ تھا جاں سے گزرنا میرا
کیسے ترسیلِ سخن کی کوئی صورت نکلے
یہ زباں میری نہیں ہے نہ یہ لہجہ میرا
میں ابھی سیرِ جہاں بینی میں گم ہوں اشفاؔ ق
آسماں دیکھ رہا ہے ابھی رستہ میرا
