وہ دوست ہے اور برا نہیں ہے
بس میرے مزاج کا نہیں ہے
دل میرا بھی کب تھا ایسا سادہ
وہ آنکھ بھی بے خطا نہیں ہے
اس شخص نے پھیر لی ہوں آنکھیں
ایسا تو کبھی ہوا نہیں ہے
اک بار محبتوں کا بادل
برسا ہے تو پھر رکا نہیں ہے
یہ جاں سے گزرتی ساعتیں ہیں
یہ درد کا مرحلہ نہیں ہے
کچھ زخم وہاں لگے ہیں لیکن
وہ شہر تو بے وفا نہیں ہے
جو میری تلاش میں ہے اب تک
میں ہوں کوئی دوسرا نہیں ہے
اس عہد کی ہے یہ اک ضرورت
ہجرت کوئی سانحہ نہیں ہے
