اشوک لال
ایک خوشبو سی بسی رہتی ہے سانسوں میں مرے
حسن کا دھیان بھی خود حسن کے مانند حسیں
پاس ہو تم تو یہ قدرت ہے محبت جاگے
دور ہونے پہ بھی احساس کا رہنا ہے یقیں
لمحہ ہر ساتھ میں لاتا ہے ہزاروں دنیا
بوند کی کوکھ میں جیوں اندر دھنش رہتا ہے
کتنے بھی گہرے اندھیرے ہوں تمہارا جادو
روشنی بن کے ہر اک رگ میں میری بہتا ہے
حسن وہ شے ہے کہ جس کی کوئی سرحد ہی نہیں
وقت بے معنی ہے اور فاصلہ اک دھوکہ ہے
گھاؤ رہتا ہے ہرا ٹیس کے پہناوے میں
خواب اور یاد کا ایک ایک نفس سچا ہے

pas ho tum to ye qudrat hai mohabbat jage
dur hone pe bhi ehsas ka rahna hai yaqin
lamha har sath mein lata hai hazaron duniya
bund ki kokh mein jyun indr-dhanush rahta hai
kitne bhi gahre andhere hon tumhaara jadu
raushni ban ke har ek rag mein meri bahta hai
husn wo shai hai ki jis ki koi sarhad hi nahin
waqt be-mani hai aur fasla ek dhoka hai
ghaw rahta hai hara Tis ke pahnawe mein
KHwab aur yaad ka ek ek nafas sachcha hai
