اشوک ساہنی

جو ضروری ہے کار کر پہلے

شکر پروردگار کر پہلے

غم کا ہر دم بیاں نہیں اچھا

اپنی خوشیاں شمار کر پہلے

عشق اک آگ کا سمندر ہے

یہ سمندر تو پار کر پہلے

مت اٹھا انگلیاں رقیبوں پر

عیب اپنے شمار کر پہلے

روشنی کی اگر تمنا ہے

ظلمت شب پہ وار کر پہلے

مات بھی اس میں جیت جیسی ہے

عشق میں دیکھ، ہار کر پہلے

سر بلندی ہے خاکساری میں

انکسار اختیار کر پہلے

دینے والا بڑائی بھی دے گا

اس کے بندوں سے پیار کر پہلے

shukr-e-parwardigar kar pahle

gham ka har dam bayan nahin achchha
apni KHushiyan shumar kar pahle

ishq ek aag ka samundar hai
ye samundar tu par kar pahle

mat uTha ungliyan raqibon par
aib apne shumar kar pahle

raushni ki agar tamanna hai
zulmat-e-shab pe war kar pahle

mat bhi is mein jit jaisi hai
ishq mein dekh, haar kar pahle

sar-bulandi hai KHaksari mein
inkisar iKHtiyar kar pahle

dene wala baDai bhi dega
us ke bandon se pyar kar pahle
