بادباں کھولے گی اور بند قبا لے جائے گی

رات پھر آئے گی پھر سب کچھ بہا لے جائے گی

خواب جتنے دیکھنے ہیں آج سارے دیکھ لیں

کیا بھروسہ کل کہاں پاگل ہوا لے جائے گی

یہ اندھیرے ہیں غنیمت کوئی رستہ ڈھونڈ لو

صبح کی پہلی کرن آنکھیں اٹھا لے جائے گی

ہوش مندوں سے بھرے ہیں شہر اور جنگل سبھی

ساتھ کس کس کو بھلا کالی گھٹا لے جائے گی

جاگتے منظر چھتیں دالان آنگن کھڑکیاں

اب کے پھیرے میں ہوا یہ بھی اڑا لے جائے گی

ایک اک کر کے سبھی ساتھی پرانے کھو گئے

جو بچا ہے وہ نگاہ سرمہ سا لے جائے گی

جاتے جاتے دیکھ لینا گردش لیل و نہار

زندگی سے بانکپن لطف خطا لے جائے گی
