چوباروں کے سر پر خاک

شہر ملامت آ پہنچا

سارے مناظر عبرت ناک

دریاؤں کی نذر ہوئے

دھیرے دھیرے سب تیراک

تیری نظر سے بچ پائیں

ایسے کہاں کے ہم چالاک

دامن بچنا مشکل ہے

رستے جنوں کے آتش ناک

اور کہاں تک صبر کریں

کرنا پڑے گا سینہ چاک
