گزر گئے ہیں جو موسم کبھی نہ آئیں گے

تمام دریا کسی روز ڈوب جائیں گے

سفر تو پہلے بھی کتنے کیے مگر اس بار

یہ لگ رہا ہے کہ تجھ کو بھی بھول جائیں گے

الاؤ ٹھنڈے ہیں لوگوں نے جاگنا چھوڑا

کہانی ساتھ ہے لیکن کسے سنائیں گے

سنا ہے آگے کہیں سمتیں بانٹی جاتی ہیں

تم اپنی راہ چنو ساتھ چل نہ پائیں گے

دعائیں لوریاں ماؤں کے پاس چھوڑ آئے

بس ایک نیند بچی ہے خرید لائیں گے

ضرور تجھ سا بھی ہوگا کوئی زمانے میں

کہاں تلک تری یادوں سے جی لگائیں گے
