آج تک ہم سے یہی بس ایک نادانی ہوئی

سیکڑوں پردے اٹھا لائے تھے ہم بازار سے

گتھیاں کچھ اور الجھیں اور حیرانی ہوئی

ہم تو سمجھے تھے کہ اس سے فاصلے مٹ جائیں گے

خود کو ظاہر بھی کیا لیکن پشیمانی ہوئی

کیا بتائیں فکر کیا ہے اور کیا ہے جستجو

ہاں طبیعت دن بہ دن اپنی بھی سیلانی ہوئی

کیوں کھلونے ٹوٹنے پر آب دیدہ ہو گئے

اب تمہیں ہم کیا بتائیں کیا پریشانی ہوئی
