اسلم عمادی

چلو اب دعا کرو نظمیں پڑھو وصال کی سب آیتیں پڑھو

کیا رہ گیا ہے شام کا اب رات سے فراغ

جب حرف خون داغ

آندھی میں ایک نیم نفس بے ہوا چراغ

ان قہقہوں کو روک لو اک شب کی بات ہے

میں سوچتا ہوں

چپ رہوں لیکن تمہیں بتاؤ

کیا یہ حیات ہے

chalo ab dua karo nazmen paDho visal ki sab aayaten paDho
kya rah gaya hai sham ka ab raat se faragh
jab harf-e-KHun-e-dagh
aandhi mein ek nim-nafas be-hawa charagh
in qahqahon ko rok lo ek shab ki baat hai
main sochta hun
chup rahun lekin tumhin batao
kya ye hayat hai
