محبت میں کہاں آسودگی محسوس ہوتی ہے
یہ وہ مے ہے کہ پی کر تشنگی محسوس ہوتی ہے
بھڑک اٹھتے ہیں شعلے سوزش پیہم سے سینے میں
کہیں پھر جا کے آنکھوں میں نمی محسوس ہوتی ہے
نہ ہوں جب تک فروزاں شمعیں اشکوں کی سر مژگاں
کہاں اے دوست دل میں روشنی محسوس ہوتی ہے
طبیعت خوگر رنج و الم ہے اس قدر اطہرؔ
کہ اب اپنی ہنسی بھی اجنبی محسوس ہوتی ہے
