آج کی رات سر بام اتر آئے ہیں

گم شدہ چہرے مرے ماضی کے زریں اوراق

ایک اک کر کے سر عام کھلے جاتے ہیں

مجھ سے کچھ کہتی ہیں خاموش نگاہیں ان کی

ان کی آنکھوں میں ابھی تک ہے وفا کی تنویر

ان کے ماتھے پہ ابھی تک ہے وہی تابانی

ان کے پیروں میں نہیں عمر رواں کی زنجیر

ان سے دنیا کو بدلنے کی قسم کھائی تھی

ان سے اب آنکھ ملاتے ہوئے شرم آتی ہے
