یہ زرد بچے

بلراج کومل

گھروں کی رونق

یہ زرد بچے

پڑھیں لکھیں گے جوان ہوں گے

معاش کی فکر ان کی قسمت

تلاش فردا حیات ان کی

یہ رہ گزاروں پہ اپنے موہوم خواب لے کر پھرا کریں گے

یہ گھر بنائیں گے شادیانے بجائیں گے آنے والے رنگیں دنوں کی خاطر

یہ چند لقموں کی زندگی کا مآل سمجھیں گے حسب دستور

عمر بھر ان کو انگلیوں پر گنا کریں گے

یہ میرا حصہ

یہ تیرا حصہ

پھر ایک دن

یہ بھی زرد بچوں کے باپ ہوں گے

اور ان کی خاطر دعا کریں گے

دراز ہو ان کی عمر دیکھیں یہ سو بہاریں

ye zard bachche
paDhen likhenge jawan honge
maash ki fikr in ki qismat
talash-e-farda hayat in ki
ye rahguzaron pe apne mauhum KHwab le kar phira karenge
ye ghar banaenge shadyane bajaenge aane wale rangin dinon ki KHatir
ye chand luqmon ki zindagi ka maal samjhenge hasb-e-dastur
umr bhar un ko ungliyon par gina karenge
ye mera hissa
ye tera hissa
phir ek din
ye bhi zard bachchon ke bap honge
aur un ki KHatir dua karenge
daraaz ho in ki umr dekhen ye sau bahaaren
