ملتی ہے مجھ کو لذت اس یاد کی چبھن سے
بانو ارشد
ملتی ہے مجھ کو لذت اس یاد کی چبھن سے
غربت میں آئے جیسے اپنا کوئی وطن سے
گزرا ہے شوخ کوئی لہرا کے صحن دل سے
اک بھینی بھینی خوشبو جاتی نہیں بدن سے
دنیا کی ٹھوکروں میں رکھا گیا ہے جس کو
آتی ہے اس کی خوشبو پھولوں کے پیرہن سے
کیاری میں خون ڈالا پودا لگایا جس نے
وہ ہی نکل گیا ہے کاشانۂ چمن سے
جب ہم نے بات چھیڑی محفل ہوئی چراغاں
ہر شے نے داد مانگی زخموں کی انجمن سے
محفل میں آ گئے ہیں اور سرخ رو بھی ہوں گے
اعزاز بھی ملے گا بانوؔ کو حسن ظن سے

ghurbat mein aae jaise apna koi watan se
guzra hai shoKH koi lahra ke sehn-e-dil se
ek bhini bhini KHushbu jati nahin badan se
duniya ki Thokaron mein rakkha gaya hai jis ko
aati hai us ki KHushbu phulon ke pairahan se
kyari mein KHun Dala pauda lagaya jis ne
wo hi nikal gaya hai kashana-e-chaman se
jab hum ne baat chheDi mahfil hui charaghan
har shai ne dad mangi zaKHmon ki anjuman se
mahfil mein aa gae hain aur suraKH-ru bhi honge
eazaz bhi milega 'bano' ko husn-e-zan se
