اشک میرے ہیں مگر دیدۂ نم ہے اس کا

یہ جو ہونٹوں پہ تبسم ہے کرم ہے اس کا

ان کہی بات بھلا لکھوں تو لکھوں کیسے

سادے کاغذ پہ کوئی راز رقم ہے اس کا

فاصلے ایسے کہ اک عمر میں طے ہو نہ سکیں

قربتیں ایسی کہ خود مجھ میں جنم ہے اس کا

سنگ و آہن کا بڑا شہر بھی ویرانہ لگے

یہ جنوں میرا ہے اور دشت ستم ہے اس کا

درد بن کر مرے سینے میں پڑا رہتا ہے

یہ مرا دل ہے کہ اک نقش قدم ہے اس کا؟

ایک طوفاں کی طرح کب سے کنارہ کش ہے

پھر بھی باقرؔ مری نظروں میں بھرم ہے اس کا
