خون کا ہر اک قطرہ جیسے

دیمک بن کر دوڑے

ناکامی کے زہر کو چاٹے

درد میں گھلتا جائے

چھلنی جسم سے رستے لیکن

ارمانوں کے رنگ

جن کا روپ میں آنا مشکل

اور جب بھی الفاظ میں ڈھل کر

کاغذ پر بہہ نکلے

خاکے تصویروں کے بنائے

آنکھیں تارے ہاتھ شعاعیں

دل ایک صدف ہے جس میں

کتنے سچے موتی بھرے ہوئے ہیں

باہر آتے ہی یہ موتی

شبنم بن کر اڑ جاتے ہیں

جیسے اپنا کھویا سورج ڈھونڈ رہے ہیں
