چھپ کے نظروں سے ان آنکھوں کی فراموش کی راہ

اب جو آتا ہے کبھی دل میں تو وہ گوش کی راہ

آگے جوں اشک وہ رہتا تھا سدا پہلو میں

کیوں اب اس طفل نے گم کی مری آغوش کی راہ

کیونکے پونچھے گا وہ آ کر مرے آنسو ہیہات

کوچے سب اشک سے گل ہیں نہیں پاپوش کی راہ

بھر سفر نام جپوں گا ترا تو راہ کٹے

یوں تو طے ہوگی نہ اس رہ رو خاموش کی راہ

چھوڑ کر کوچۂ مے خانہ طرف مسجد کے

میں تو دیوانہ نہیں ہوں جو چلوں ہوش کی راہ

یوں تو آتا نہیں اے کاش مرے گھر کوئی

پھیرے نشے میں غلط اس بت مے نوش کی راہ

ڈس گئیں ہائے مرے دل کے تئیں آج بقاؔ

ناگنیں زلف کی اس سر سے اتر دوش کی راہ
