رشک سنبل ہے تری زلف پریشاں ہم ہیں

ناتواں چشم تری ہم ہیں عصا کے محتاج

نت کی بیمار وہ اور طالب درماں ہم ہیں

رشک طوطی ہے خط سبز ترا ہم گویا

دونوں عارض ہیں ترے آئنہ حیراں ہم ہیں

آج کل ہائے ترے ناز کے ہاتھوں اے یار

صدمہ پہنچے ہے ترے قلب کو نالاں ہم ہیں

لالہ رویوں کی محبت میں اب اے سرو سہی

سر بسر داغ تو اور سرو خراماں ہم ہیں

ہم اسیر خم مو تیرے ہمارا تو رام

خاتم جم ہے ترے پاس سلیماں ہم ہیں

تو سخن سنج بقاؔ نام ہمارا مشہور
