بقا اللہ بقاؔ

رنگ میں ہم مس سے بتر ہو چکے

لیک اسی مس سے کہ زر ہو چکے

رخ کو ترے شب سے میں تشبیہ دوں

پر اسی شب سے کہ سحر ہو چکے

چہرہ ترا ہے مہ نو اے صنم

پر وہ مہ نو کہ قمر ہو چکے

رشک گل سیب ہے تیرا زنخ

لیک وہی گل کہ ثمر ہو چکے

قطرۂ نیساں ہیں وہ دنداں بقاؔ

پر وہی قطرہ کہ گہر ہو چکے
